AQUA-NOVA® Water Stills and Pure Steam Generators represent more than 30 years of accumulated experience within WFI production and clean water systems. Our third-generation multi- and single-effect stills are designed for flexible operation and deliver a safe distillate quality exceeding the specifications of USP, EP and JP for Water for Injection (WFI).
The stills can also produce pure steam for sterilisation purposes. Depending on pure steam demand, each unit is dimensioned to meet your specific requirements. A hallmark of our designs is the four-stage water droplet separation, introduced in 1980, which ensures consistently high distillate quality.
Engineering that protects quality
- The developed “float”-type heat exchangers minimise thermal stress and help avoid micro-cracks.
- The thermosiphon principle provides high efficiency and reduces scaling should feed-water quality deteriorate.

AQUA-NOVA® Pure Steam Generators, as stand-alone units, share the same core design and separation system as the first column of a multi-effect still.
AQUA-NOVA® Laboratory Stills and MEDICELL® research water systems include multiple design features to deliver optimised performance and a safe water quality corresponding to WFI or higher.
AQUA-NOVA® PW and HPW systems, based on single or double reverse osmosis combined with CEDI, are supplied with the latest technology, including hot-water sanitation. Each system is individually dimensioned based on feed-water quality and required production capacity.
